I Was There!!!

Singing a mix of popular favourites and some relatively new unknowns, the group had the crowd swaying, screaming and singing to their music, the very first time they decided to play in this country! With no opening band performing, the wait for the maestros to take the stage was quite interminable. Their entry could also have been better orchestrated for the thousands of fans waiting to catch a glimpse of their rock idols! Of course, their belting of one song after another more than made up for all this. Lasting for a little under two hours, the concert was replete with Steven Tyler's usual idiosyncrasies, with a smattering of Hindi thrown in for good measure. At the end of it all, the crowd was left wanting more when the band ceremoniously made their exit. Of course, in trademark style, Tyler sprinted back onto the stage, declaring to sing two more songs, but instead, singing only one, after a consultation with Joe Perry. Of course, the crowd seemed reluctant to leave even after this rendition!

Aching legs not withstanding, it was, no doubt, a good experience!
