Dubai Chronicles - Part 6b

Zabeel Park; an expanse that warrants five huge gates/entrances, was our next stop in Dubai. Designed by the mother of my nephew's friend, the park is too huge to be labelled as just a park! It'll be more appropriate to call it a field! Glowing rocks, swings and slides aplenty, an under construction "planets" section, it had them all and more! However, the highlight of this park is the wide expanse of lawn/grass that lets one run amok! Although we didn't spend much time there as it was quite late in the evening, we did manage to cram in a good many minutes of badminton and cricket. With an entrance fee of 5 dirhams, the park is a veritable treat for children and adults alike. In fact, we saw many people jogging not only inside the park, but also circling the wide outside area, for which, of course, no entrance fee is required!

I really don't think she'll be interested without any "rona dhona" and "saas bahus" thrown in for good measure! :-/
