Dubai Chronicles - Part 4a
Our first destination the next day was, yes, you guessed it, yet another mall; Lamcy Plaza! I've already reiterated countless times that the malls in Dubai surpass any length of imagination in the area they cover, et al. So, I'll just shut up for a while and post some pictures, with captions thrown in to tell the story!
I love gumball machines; they're too colourful to not be clicked!
Yes, he was going up and down the whole time!
There were crystals of all hues, shapes and sizes here!

This particular store had loads and loads of funky clips, hair bands, key chains, and the like!
Coming up next: All that glitters is gold! The Gold Souk; truly, a yellow assault on the eyes!

dear presi, i had to pause at the picture of those cute cuddly toys cos nora just couldnt shut up about it! she kept pointing at 'em & saying 'nak nak' - malay word for want want = ) promised to get her one whenever we are in Dubai. Again such a humungous mall! How do they all keep up with the competition!? The people of Dubai must be really into shopping eh?
Awww, I can almost picture Nora pointing and asking for a toy! :-) She's surely getting one from me whenever I see her!
About the competition, there really doesn't seem to be any dearth of shoppers in Dubai. I've seen many native women go into a number of shops and come out loaded with packages and bags! I guess the people in Dubai have both the time and the inclination to shop so much!
