Joys of Summer!
As a response to Deepthi’s tag, here’s my list:
8 things I like about summer:
1. The fact that the presence of summer signifies that the rains and winter are just around the corner!
2. Ice cold juices/drinks/ice creams – they never taste so good as in the sweltering heat!
3. Summer showers – always so welcome and refreshing!
4. Mangoes/watermelons – eternal favourites for many, I should think!
5. The fact that my birthday falls on what can arguably be called the hottest month in summer – May!
6. Standing under the shower for a pretty long time, after a sweaty and dusty day!
7. Pretty summer dresses
8. The fact that it (summer) is of a comparatively short duration where I live now!
This has been a tremendously difficult list for me to come up with, abhorring summer as I do! Ah! For me, the cool confines of a winter month any day!!!

dats a tough request knowing how i loath summer! will do my best superN! = )
ok, here goes, sorry but THIS wont go on my blog cos its just not me cos the whole world knows how i loath summer! so its just on here superN, sorry was being such a spoilt sport eh! =\
01 - Dont hv to wear layers & layers of clothes
02 - sunny, nice & warm
03 - all the tourist attractions in europe are open and in full swing!
04 - no crowded buses, trams or trains as schools are off for 2 months! yahoo!
05 - can sit outside and enjoy your dinner or just a drink
06 - can swim in the sea
07 - the heaters off obviously thus saved some energy
08 - i get to use the FAN! hahahah (Brecht hates the fan, he rather sleep in sweat!)
this is a very hard list to come up with!!! arghh the things i do for friends = )

Thanks for the wishes, deepthi... I'm in Bangalore now, where, thankfully, summer doesn't extend beyond 2-3 months...
hi SuperN..thanks for asking about me on the blog. I have been busy running around between temp. jobs,nephew/niece/sis/Sasi my cat,mum and Lars... :D coming right up soon on your local blog screen would be the summer list!! i will use my summer experience in Canada last year.. hehehe..

I am to leave for Canada in August, but let's see how things are going, our wedding is in Dec.. was looking around for a simple mangalsutra.. hheheh, and yes, since you love winter, we welcome you guys anytime...
