Saturday Tales...
On Saturday last,
Did we set foot upon,
The cool confines,
Of Little Italy’s fawn!
A nice, quaint eatery,
Did it so prove to be,
The perfect stopover,
For our ongoing anniversary!
Yes, ongoing they sure are,
The celebrations, I mean,
A nice prelude to make up,
For it falling on a weekday, keen!
A crusty wood burn pizza,
With a cheesy lasagna to match,
Served, we did, our tummies well,
Onto a Bloody Mary too, did we latch!
Teetotalers are we, the both of us,

But my puny mocktail also, keeps me gay!

Yup, the melted cheese was lovely; the sauce kinda hindered the flavour! :-)
oohhh... pizza and bloody mary, two of my fav. things... i normally call for the bloodiest mary that they can find at the bar... :D
