Beatrix and Anne

I've been obsessed with 2 things over the last few days:

Bloody and gory, but so engaging and impressive! Uma Thurman truly rocks!

A book so disarmingly simple, yet poignant through and through!

Yeah, I too liked this movie very much. Although I don't prefer much of blood & gore films, this was really well made & liked the review of the book too very much!

G'day from a Calcutta-born and Darjeeling-educated Aussie,

Anne Frank was a great part of my life. At 14 I took part in a school production of the play and years later I made a pilgrimage to Amsterdam to visit the real Anne Frank house.

That journey and the profound effect the book had on me as a teenager are chronicled on my blog.

Great to ``meet'' you.

Cheers

David

Thanks for stopping by, David! It's always nice to hear from a fellow Calcuttan and Anne Frank enthusiast! I'm interested to know how visiting her house felt; it must have been so moving!

that movie is one of the best narrations i've seen yet. tarantino rocks. and i saw the first part entirely by accident, was walking past one of the old cinemas back home, saw the name, liked it, stepped in. then had to look for part two.
