Batu Caves

Temples built within hills and caves that have been hollowed out, make for some lovely pictures! Batu Caves, near KL, were no exception!

We were out of breath when we reached the top, but it was certainly worth it!

i've only been to it once and i will never forget it, indeed a must see place when visiting Malaysia. Apparently it holds one of the most beautiful Thaipusam parades in Asia too!

Oh yeah, the monkeys! I was holding on to every possession dearly, lest they had the mind to snatch something! :-/

Hi, I didn't know you were in Malaysia. The Batu Caves is a magnificient place. I never did the climb the stairs for fear of triggering my asthma. In Ipoh where I come from, there are also other temples constructed in caves of the many hills. I love the serenity inside with little streams that lead you to secret passages only known to the monks. There were no stairs to climb, hence my wandering into the caves. Glad you enjoyed your stay here.

Yes, we had a good time in Malaysia! I'm sure the other cave temples are just as beautiful, if not more!

Thanks for stopping by!
